DANCE GUIDELINES:
- Wristbands will be distributed to students who have a valid purchase through MySchoolBucks or have presented a signed permission slip and paid with cash. Wristbands will be distributed during Homeroom on the day of the dance. Wristbands are required for entry to the dance.
- ONLY 500 tickets will be sold.
- Ticket cost is $5.00 and will be available to purchase on MySchoolBucks February 10th-19th (scan QR code above). For students wishing to pay in cash, a signed permission slip is required before purchasing a wristband.
- Tickets will NOT be sold on the day of the dance nor at the door! The last day to purchase tickets will be Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
- Only Milwee Middle School students may attend the dance. All others will not be permitted to remain on our school campus during the dance.
- Food is not included in the ticket price. Milwee’s PTSA will be selling food at the event. Please have students bring cash if they would like to purchase food:
- Dance hours are 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm; ALL STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 8:15 pm.
- All students attending the dance must remain in the designated area (Cafeteria and secured patio).
- Students may not leave the dance early unless a parent or guardian checks them out at the front entrance of the dance with a school official.
- Students may not return to the dance after leaving.
- 6th grade students: Pick-up your student at the CAR RAMP in the front of the Media Center.
- 7th/8th grade students: Pick-up your student at the BUS RAMP in the front of the GYM.
- The SEMINOLE COUNTY STUDENT CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE CODE is enforced during our dances and all students are expected to comply, this includes proper dress. Any student misbehavior may result in immediate removal from the dance and/or not being allowed to attend any future dances. Further consequences may be warranted.
- Refunds will not be given for students who cannot attend due to failure to meet discipline, and attendance/tardy expectations.

My purchase in MySchoolBucks or my signature on the permission slip (available from Ms. Austin or on the school website) indicates that I give my daughter/son permission to attend the Winter Dance on Friday, February 21, 2024, at Milwee Middle School’s cafeteria and secured patio. I have read and understand the above written information. I understand the dance will be from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm and he/she will be picked-up no later than 8:15 pm. I/We understand my student may NOT be allowed to attend this event if he/she received a referral resulting in a suspension, have attendance concerns resulting in 6 or more unexcused absences, or 11 or more unexcused tardies during the 3rd quarter.
Families are encouraged to purchase tickets to the dance through My School Bucks using the QR code. Families who wish to pay cash for the ticket must sign the permission form on the back of this document. Students will not be allowed to purchase a ticket with cash without presenting a completed and signed permission slip form.
