
We are looking forward to hosting our annual Fall Student Social for our Spartans this Friday from 4:05-6pm. We understand many are still in varying stages of recovery after Hurricane Milton. Our goal is to provide a sense of normalcy on campus for our kids and offer an opportunity for them to get outside together in a safe environment with friends to build relationships with their peers and encourage school pride and spirit. We are grateful to those who have helped over the past 3 months to make this event possible and look forward to hopefully meeting some new faces on Friday at the social. FALL SOCIAL WRISTBANDS WENT ON SALE SEPTEMBER 18TH AND WILL END THIS WEDNESDAY.
Please understand that in order to give our admin team time to check the lists and assemble wristbands for distribution, and give our volunteer team time to purchase adequate supplies,
NO wristbands will be sold after this Wednesday.
THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO BUY:
ONLINE: The $5 entry wristbands can be purchased online here: app.givebacks.gives/fallsocial2024 this is the preferred method as it does not require volunteers and it includes the parent permission slip.
IN PERSON: For those wishing to pay with cash, our goal is to have volunteers at lunches tomorrow and Wednesday. (October 15th & 16th) this is entirely contingent on our dividends availability. Please understand we are doing everything we can to ensure we keep this option however the storm has disrupted many of our volunteers schedules.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THOSE PAYING WITH CASH:
Your student must have either a signed paper copy of the parent permission slip OR a digital copy that can be signed electronically HERE. Please not we cannot accept any money without a completed parent permission slip.
A few important details…
-The fall social is an outdoor event for current Milwee students hosted on the track immediately after school, with music, face-painting, various outdoor games, and snacks/drinks for sale. It will be hot, please plan accordingly.
- All proceeds from this event benefit our school clubs and our PTSA.
- Wristbands are $5.00 and include entry and access to our free activities.
- Students that turn in a permission slip and bring cash (or are registered online) before Wednesday will receive their wristbands during 2nd period on Friday.
-There will be a mix of free and paid activities/treats at the social. Students will be able to purchase game/food tickets on Friday at the event (2/$1) if they wish to purchase additional food/play paid games.
